The French Mediterranean BSAC Centre
Cap Plongée at Six Fours les Plage on the Côte d’Azur is the only BSAC centre in France & is the closest Overseas BSAC Centre to the UK. As a BSAC Diver Training Centre with in-house BSAC Open Water Instructor, we offer BSAC training and certification up to the Dive Leader level. Especially in Spring & Autumn, we welcome BSAC Referrals & invite club groups to bring their own instructors & students for their open-water training dives in well-tolerated water temperatures. With such a varied and fascinating range of dive sites, it’s a great destination for recreational or technical dives, whether on open circuit or rebreather. IANTD Nitrox Diver : 160 €
(EANx Diver – Basic Nitrox)
Recreational diving with Nitrox rather than air provides divers with a safer breathing gas by reducing Nitrogen saturation at equivalent dive depth & duration. After completing this course, you will be able to use Enriched Air "Nitrox" containing 22% to 40% oxygen.
This enables you to dive to the maximum depth of your certification (but not more than 40m) for longer periods due to the increased no-decompression times with Nitrox. During the course, you will learn about the physics & practical applications of Nitrox Diving & put these principles into practice on two Nitrox training dives.
Course Duration: 1 day
Includes: 2 dives at 20m, Nitrox cylinder fills, the theory & IANTD certification Minimum Certification: 20m Diver Open Water Diver, CMAS 1-Star/Niveau 1/PE20 The diver‘s equipment: A Nitrox dive computer is required in addition to regular diving equipment. We rent dive computers & all necessary diving equipment.

Pa40 Training
8 dives*, certification, theory, equipment rental included.
For the "40m autonomous diving" or Pa40 certification, the diver must be at least level 2 or Pa20. He or she must have completed around fifteen autonomous dives in his or her logbook.
For this level it would be desirable for you to start to take ownership of some of your diving equipment so that the training focuses on your own configuration and is personalized.
Computer, parachute with spool required.
Rental of equipment and diving computer is possible with our partner Cap Plongée.
The first half of Level 3, Pa40 training is the training during which you will be trusted to plan and dive.
With Level 2, you had to take into account your consumption to return safely to the boat at the end of your trip. With the Pa40, the rule does not change; but this time you will have to take into account the ascent and decompression time!!
The training also includes a whole series of care techniques to help you take care of your companion in difficulty.
This comprehensive training will give you a better understanding and real responsibility in your practice.

Avec la formation Nitrox confirmé le plongeur a une complète compréhension de la décompression des gaz azotés.
Les mélanges de gaz permettent de saturer le moins possible. Pour une même contrainte une même saturation, pour une même durée de remontée, vous multipliez le temps d’exploration.
La planification n’est plus un option ! Cette formation changera votre pratique ! A l’avenir, même sur une simple plongée loisir on réfléchira toujours à optimiser son parcours. Une formation pour les amoureux des longues balades sous l’eau !!
Ne comprend pas les gaz ni la location de matériel.
Niveau Minimum du Plongeur : Pa40 Nitrox simple
Le plongeur doit avoir à sa disposition :
Une bouteille ou un bi adaptés à sa consommation
Une bouteille Pony S40, 7l .... adaptée à sa consommation
Une combinaison adaptée à 5 plongées de 60’ à 80’ en Méditerranée
Un outil coupant
Un parachute sur dévidoir ou spool (30m minimum)
Location de la bouteille pony possible sur place pour la formation 10€ par jour
Les gaz sont achetables sur place auprès de Cap Plongée ou autre fournisseur (Il faudra prévoir 4 gonflages Nitrox dorsal et 2 ou 3 gonflages Pony).

PA 60 Training
4 dives*, certification, theory, equipment rental included.
For the “autonomous diving at 60m” or Pa60 certification, the diver must be Pa40 minimum and can provide proof of a few autonomous dives at 40m on their logbook.
Rifap mandatory.
It is best if the diver is also on simple Nitrox.
For this level it would be desirable for you to have a large part of your diving equipment so that the training is based on your own configuration and is personalized.
Computer, parachute with spool required.
Rental of equipment and diving computer is possible with our partner Cap Plongée.
The second half of Level 3, Pa60 training is the training during which you will be trusted to plan and dive.
With the Pa40 you had to take into account your consumption and your stops to return safely to the boat at the end of your trip. With the Pa60 the rule does not change; but this time you will have to add narcosis and other problems related to depth!!
This training is required in France to go beyond 40m in air or trimix.
Diving in these depths requires a responsible diver.

A day of first aid diving training including: Certification of theory and practice in the water (snorkeling).
A mandatory certification to complete Level 3 (Pa60).
RIFAP is a first aid approach that is necessary when undertaking more challenging dives.

La Formation Pa60 Nitrox confirmé est la porte ouverte à la profondeur. Le plongeur a une complète compréhension de la décompression des gaz azotés. La multiplication des gaz emportés dans l’eau permet de saturer le moins possible. Pour une même contrainte une même saturation, pour une même durée de remontée, vous multipliez le temps d’exploration et vous sécurisez plus largement votre plongée. De plus au-delà de 40m il faudra penser à la narcose. La planification n’est plus un option ! Cette formation changera votre pratique !
Dorénavant, même sur une simple plongée on réfléchira toujours à optimiser son parcours. Une formation nécessaires en France pour aller jusqu’au Trimix.
